Yamamoto Pro Brett Hite loves the fish-catching capabilities of his original Zako design, but wanted to add some addictional action to his swim jigs with a kicking tail. Introducing the new Paddle Tail Zako – unlike most paddle tail swimbaits, this Zako’s tail is more rectangular with a rounded bottom.
“It swims really well and has a nice wiggle action to it,” explains Hite.
With it’s big belly and a large profile, this swimbait is reminiscent of a bluegill or a big shad. This new Zako retains the same vertical baitfish profile and segmented tails section as it’s predecessor while its tapered head creates a seamless overall profile. It fits on a jig head perfectly with no trimming – just thread it on and you’re good to go!
